Junior UI/UX Designer

As a Junior UX-UI Designer, you’ll contribute to creating user-friendly interfaces and enhancing the overall user experience for our digital products. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with experienced designers and developers, build valuable skills, and gain hands-on experience in developing intuitive, visually compelling designs.

Responsibilities

- User Research: Analyze user needs and behaviors to inform design decisions.

- Persona & Journey Creation: Develop user personas and map user journeys to better understand user profiles and flows.

- Wireframing & Prototyping: Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts.

- Visual Design: Craft cohesive, attractive user interfaces with attention to layout, color, typography, and visual hierarchy.

- Interaction Design: Design meaningful interactions and user-friendly navigation.

- Developer Collaboration: Work closely with developers to ensure accurate design implementation.

- Consistency: Ensure a unified design system across all platforms.

- Accessibility: Incorporate accessibility best practices to make designs inclusive for all users.

- Data Visualization: Simplify complex data and present it in a clear, engaging way.

- Feedback Integration: Refine designs based on user feedback and usability testing.

Qualifications

- Design Education: Degree in design, psychology, human-computer interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proficiency in Design Tools: Expertise in tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision for creating designs and prototypes.

- User-Centered Design Knowledge: Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

- Wireframing & Prototyping Skills: Ability to create low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes.

- Visual Design Skills: Strong sense of layout, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.

- Knowledge of HTML/CSS (optional but beneficial): Basic understanding of front-end languages to better collaborate with developers.

- Experience with Usability Testing: Ability to conduct and analyze usability testing for design validation.

- Problem-Solving Abilities: Skill in finding creative solutions to design challenges.

- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to articulate design ideas effectively.

- Portfolio of Work: A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX projects and design process.

500 - 1000 AZN based on experience
